Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef or turkey
- 1/4 cup almond flour or breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
- Non-stick cooking spray (optional)
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, almond flour or breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
- Form Meatballs: Roll into 1-inch balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and set aside on a plate or tray.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Arrange Meatballs: Lightly spray air fryer basket and arrange meatballs in a single layer without touching.
- Cook: Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through cooking. Meatballs should be browned and cooked through (160°F internal temperature).
- Serve: Let rest 2–3 minutes, garnish with parsley, and enjoy hot with your favorite sauce or side!
Notes
For extra crispiness, spray the tops of meatballs with cooking spray before air frying. Avoid overcrowding the basket, cook in batches if needed. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 5 to 6 minutes.
